Catacombs app for iPhone and iPad

Just Bought it and all I have to say is.... WONDERFUL! This Gauntlet clone has great graphics, control, sound, etc! This is a must buy for everyone! Also, buy the DLC ; 0,99$ is a steal for 24 new maps!! And between for the dev : Please please please, add some new classes and other features from the Gauntlet series that would be so fun! I love your game so much and will stay on my iPod Touch for ever!!

I love this app! I was a serious Gauntlet addict when I was a kid, still am to be honest, and this app is a sweet Gauntlet clone! If you are a fan of the old school Gauntlet arcade game, this a must get app for you :) Its a nice way to relive your younger days without forking out rolls of quarters lol If you have never heard of the Gauntlet game, here is your chance to play a game very much like it and see where your Dad (and some Moms) spent all his/her allowance growing up ;) Truly worth the 99 cents, & the forest expansion is equally worth the 99 cents to buy it as well... I give it 4 out of 5 stars.. Only 4 because I am loosing too much sleep playing this app when I should be sleeping :)

This was such a Gauntlet flash back!! I really enjoyed playing this game, but itll need an expansion pack soon to make it a little less repetitive (more monsters, dungeon types, spells, etc). Quite a start though!

Dungeon Defence was my favourite game for a long time, so when this came out, it was a no-brainer, and I tell ya, for $0.99, this game is well worth it! Good graphics, a fairly decent variety of monsters, too. Its basically like a Gauntlet clone, but 1-player. Very fun. My only request would be to see multi-player. If you could connect and play against others Catacombs denizens over wi-fi, wow would this be fun! Also, a little of character customisation as you go up levels would make this game epic. Keep coming out with cool dungeon games, InMotion, and Ill keep buying.

Great game. Graphics could use more style but theyre still good and the gameplay itself is really fun.

not ennouf content, spell, items... no point for gathering tresures!!!! bad game

So I download the in-app forest pack, restored my phone, and now I have to buy it again... LAME! Try the free one but dont pay for the forest...not that good anyway...

You have to pay another 0,79 and than another 0,79 for more levels..

Not bad, I have hopes for future improvement. 1. Ambient and combat sounds could be improved. 2. Gameplay needs to be able to be saved so that a player can continue where he left off. 3. Game movement could be smoother, faster, or both. 4. More variety in environment interaction, say something like adding traps. All-in-all a good beginning for a hack n slash. Adding limited roleplaying elements like skills or abilities would be nice. These issues should be resolved before anyone should buy the next chapter.

Okay, the idea and graphics is good, but the whole gameplay is boring. I mean there is only 1 thing u can buy with the in-game money, and its not even worth it. Whenever u get leveled up, there are only 3 things u can power up, and they dont even make a difference. For example, after I upgraded my strength to the last level (lvl 20) it was only about 20% stronger; it still requires 2 hits to kill a spider There r better games that have the same idea but better gameplay...check Solomons boneyard

Dark and dingy graphics repetitive gameplay, in app purchase, so its not really free. Theres much better in the same genre out there
