Just Bought it and all I have to say is.... WONDERFUL! This Gauntlet clone has great graphics, control, sound, etc! This is a must buy for everyone! Also, buy the DLC ; 0,99$ is a steal for 24 new maps!! And between for the dev : Please please please, add some new classes and other features from the Gauntlet series that would be so fun! I love your game so much and will stay on my iPod Touch for ever!!

I love this app! I was a serious Gauntlet addict when I was a kid, still am to be honest, and this app is a sweet Gauntlet clone! If you are a fan of the old school Gauntlet arcade game, this a must get app for you :) Its a nice way to relive your younger days without forking out rolls of quarters lol If you have never heard of the Gauntlet game, here is your chance to play a game very much like it and see where your Dad (and some Moms) spent all his/her allowance growing up ;) Truly worth the 99 cents, & the forest expansion is equally worth the 99 cents to buy it as well... I give it 4 out of 5 stars.. Only 4 because I am loosing too much sleep playing this app when I should be sleeping :)

This was such a Gauntlet flash back!! I really enjoyed playing this game, but itll need an expansion pack soon to make it a little less repetitive (more monsters, dungeon types, spells, etc). Quite a start though!

not ennouf content, spell, items... no point for gathering tresures!!!! bad game

Dungeon Defence was my favourite game for a long time, so when this came out, it was a no-brainer, and I tell ya, for $0.99, this game is well worth it! Good graphics, a fairly decent variety of monsters, too. Its basically like a Gauntlet clone, but 1-player. Very fun. My only request would be to see multi-player. If you could connect and play against others Catacombs denizens over wi-fi, wow would this be fun! Also, a little of character customisation as you go up levels would make this game epic. Keep coming out with cool dungeon games, InMotion, and Ill keep buying.

Great game. Graphics could use more style but theyre still good and the gameplay itself is really fun.

I love the update! Definitely improved the gameplay. However, I dont like the new icon... The other icon was really neat and fit well on my homepage... The skull seems so generic and overly attention grabbing. :(

Ok game the only thing is that it get boring really fast. It just 2 repetative

Catacombs needs an equip drop system, with player customization. Maybe make a town were you can buy and trade with your gold? Also multiplayer would be amazing

Overall this game is great some of the things could be changed though. I think that mabey 1 or more classes like a paladin that can heal or somthing like that also multiplayer would be cool to

This game is very nice, but needs more stuff to make it better. The treasure has no use after you use it to unlock the thief... More RPG elements would be good such as upgrading your weapon at a shop instead of upgrading stats. More downloadable content would be nice, however there is no real change between levels other than route, its very linear. The game runs smoothly and is very fun. With more updates, it could be the best iPhone game out there.

I would be better if there was multiplayer and be able to costomize ur charachter

So I download the in-app forest pack, restored my phone, and now I have to buy it again... LAME! Try the free one but dont pay for the forest...not that good anyway...

This is just okay in my opinion. The first while its quite thrilling actually, especially if you were a fan of gauntlet, but the patterns could benefit from a little more creativity. For instance, there arent any secret doors and not nearly enough boss level enemies to battle. The coin system seems redundant, and the characters could have more special attacks than they currently do. Anyway fun and easy controls, immersive music, and mildly addicting.... For a little while.

I was sad to see my purchased forest levels disappear a while back, no doubt because of a legal scare, but was sadder still to find that now the forest levels are back I need to purchase them again in order to gain access. Needless to say I wont be dropping another buck on content I already paid for.
